We offer actual dictation in the field of internal medicine, along with a paid internship program. Once you have completed all three basic courses, plus this Internal Medicine Dictation course, and pass the final exams with a 98%, you will automatically be eligible for our paid internship program, which means you will be transcribing actual dictation and YOU will be paid for your training, while at the same time gaining the much-needed experience to become an employable medical transcriptionist.
At the end of your three-month PAID internship program, if you have maintained 98% accuracy, you will be offered full-time independent contractor employment with our company.
The Internal Medicine Dictation course comes with a CD containing over 10 hours of actual voice files that you will download onto your computer, transcribe, and then self-grade. You will also receive an answer key with all transcribed reports, so you can work at your own pace and self-grade your own work; PLUS a published medical specialty book, "Stedman's Internal Medicine & Geriatric Words."
Upon completion of the course, you will receive a Certificate of Completion and a Letter of Recommendation. If you are in need of a foot pedal to transcribe dictation, this can also be ordered along with the course.
